Empty legs today: how same-day private jet deals work

An empty leg is a repositioning flight: the jet has to fly anyway, back to base or on to its next customer. Instead of flying it empty, operators sell the whole aircraft well below the regular charter price.

Same-day departures suit travellers with a flexible schedule and light luggage who can react quickly. The operator confirms aircraft, crew and slots before departure, then you receive all flight details.

FAQ

Can I still book a private jet for today?

Yes, as long as the operator can confirm in time. Allow a few hours for passenger details and security checks.

Why are same-day empty legs often cheaper?

Close to departure the operator is running out of time to sell the flight. Any booking covers costs that would otherwise be incurred with no revenue at all.

Can the departure time change?

Empty legs depend on another charter. If that flight moves, the empty leg may move too. We notify you as soon as the operator reports a change.
