Frequently asked questions
What does the eSIM cost?
Nothing. The 1 GB eSIM is free once for every PrivJet account. We do not ask for payment details.
Does my phone support eSIM?
Most phones since 2019 support eSIM, for example iPhone XS and later and many Android models. Your phone must not be locked to a carrier.
How long is the eSIM valid?
At least 7 days from the first connection in the destination country. Install the eSIM within 7 days of claiming it, ideally shortly before your trip. After that it lapses and you can claim a new one while the allowance lasts.
Why do I need to confirm my mobile number?
It makes sure every person uses the offer only once. We save the confirmed number to your account. The free eSIM is offered in exchange for your consent to offers by SMS and WhatsApp; you can unsubscribe at any time and keep the eSIM.
Do I keep my own number?
Yes. The eSIM is data only. Your existing SIM stays active for calls and texts.
What if there are none left?
We hand out the free eSIMs while stocks last. If they are all taken right now, we put you on the list and let you know as soon as eSIMs are available again.
