Heavy Jet

Heavy jets are large business aircraft with a wide cabin that typically seat ten to sixteen passengers and, depending on the model, offer intercontinental range.

Also: Large jet, Large-cabin jet

Typical models are the Bombardier Challenger 605 and 650 and the Gulfstream G450. Range is typically around 7,000 to 8,000 kilometres.

The cabin offers stand-up height, separate zones and often seats that convert into beds. Transatlantic flights, for instance from western Europe to the US East Coast, are possible depending on model and conditions.

Heavy jets suit larger groups, plenty of luggage and long routes where on-board comfort matters.
