Jet Card

A jet card is a prepaid or contractually agreed allowance of flight hours that lets you book private jet flights on pre-agreed terms.

Also: Jet card programme, Flight hour card

Jet card programmes are aimed at frequent flyers who travel by private jet regularly and do not want to request every trip individually. You buy a balance or a block of hours and book flights within the agreed conditions.

Typical features include fixed hourly rates per aircraft category, guaranteed availability with a set notice period and rules for peak days. Terms vary considerably between providers.

For occasional travellers, a jet card often makes little sense because it ties up capital. If you are flexible and fly only now and then, empty legs or individual charter requests are frequently the better fit.
