Round-Trip Charter

A round-trip charter covers the outbound and return flight on the same aircraft, which usually waits at the destination with its crew or repositions in between.

Also: Return charter, Round trip charter

With a round-trip charter you book both sectors as one package. It suits same-day business trips or short stays where you want to rely on a fixed return time.

If you stay for several days, the operator decides whether the aircraft waits on site or flies back to base in the meantime. Waiting time, crew accommodation and extra positioning are reflected in the price, depending on the setup.

On day trips, crew duty limits matter. Very long days with an outbound and return flight may require a second crew or an overnight stay.
