Light Jet

Light jets are small business aircraft that typically seat six to eight passengers on flights of two to four hours.

Also: Light business jet

Well-known examples are the Cessna Citation CJ3 and the Embraer Phenom 300. Range is typically between roughly 3,000 and 3,700 kilometres.

That makes nonstop routes such as Munich to Mallorca, Frankfurt to London or Zurich to Nice straightforward. Light jets are among the categories most often offered as empty legs.

Compared with very light jets, they offer more luggage space and often an on-board lavatory. Stand-up headroom is usually not available.
