Midsize Jet

Midsize jets are medium-sized business aircraft that typically seat seven to nine passengers, with more cabin comfort and range for longer European routes.

Also: Mid-size jet

Typical models are the Cessna Citation XLS and the Learjet 60. Range is typically around 3,400 to 4,500 kilometres.

The cabin is taller and wider than in a light jet, and on many models close to stand-up height. That makes flights of three to four hours noticeably more comfortable, for example from Vienna to Lisbon.

Midsize jets are a common compromise for groups that need more space and luggage capacity without moving up to a much larger aircraft.
