Private jets owned by individuals
Only a small share of business jets is registered directly to an individual. They are mostly smaller jets and turboprops, often flown by their owners — large jets almost always go through a company or a trustee.
We classify owners as individuals when the registered name looks like a personal name. This says nothing about who is on board and can be wrong for unusual company names.

FAQ: Individuals
How many private jets are in the “Individuals” category?
Our tracker has recorded 40 jets whose registered owner falls into this category. Together they made 59 flights in the last 30 days.
Which owners in the “Individuals” category fly the most?
By flights in the last 30 days, the leaders are: AVERA MCKENNAN (10), COSMER GARY M (6) and BONNEVILLE POWER ADMINISTRATION (4).
Which aircraft types are most common in the “Individuals” category?
Most often recorded: Cirrus Vision Jet (5), Piper M500/M600 (4) and Cessna Citation CJ2 (4).
Does this page show celebrities?
Not specifically. This category is based solely on the name in the registry. Jets that public sources attribute to well-known people are listed in the celebrities overview — even when they are registered to a company or a trustee.
How accurate is the classification?
We classify owners automatically from the name in the aircraft registry — for example “Trustee” for trusts or “LLC” for companies. Outdated registry entries, leasing or unusual names can lead to wrong assignments in individual cases.
Can I have an entry corrected or removed?
Yes. Email [email protected] with the registration and your reason. We review corrections and removal requests promptly.

Challenger, Citation or Gulfstream: when jets reposition without passengers, operators often sell the seats at a steep discount.
Data sources & notes
Data source: public ADS-B data
All positions come from publicly broadcast ADS-B signals that every aircraft transmits unencrypted and that volunteers around the world receive. Data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
Linking an aircraft to a well-known person is based on public sources such as media reports and registry data. "Jet attributed to X" explicitly does not mean that this person is on board or ordered the flight — aircraft are also chartered, sold or used by others.
All information is provided without warranty; no liability is accepted for accuracy or completeness. CO₂ figures are estimates based on typical fuel burn for the aircraft class.
Using this data to harass, track or stalk people is prohibited.
